Job Description

CogniTutor is hiring part-time contract tutors to provide academic support to K-12 students. Flexible scheduling, consistent students, and meaningful work that makes a real impact. How the Process Works Apply Complete your One-Way Video Interview using Spark Hire Onboard as a Tutor once you receive the onboarding email Interviews are self-scheduled and required to move forward. Why Tutors Like Working With Us $15-$25/hour (based on experience & subject) Flexible schedule (after school, evenings, or weekends) Remote and in-person opportunities Ongoing support and clear expectations Mission-driven work with underserved students What You'll Do Tutor students 1:1 or in small groups Follow expectations set by our partner agencies Use required assessments to determine instructional levels Submit brief session notes with required data What We're Looking For Strong skills in math, reading, or both Reliable availability (minimum 3 hours/week) Comfortable using Zoom and basic technology Strong communication and organization skills Reliable transportation for in-person roles Experience tutoring or working with students preferred
