Education Empowered Learning Studio is seeking enthusiastic and versatile teachers and tutors who thrive on thinking outside the box. This is a unique opportunity to design and teach classes in subjects you love while making a difference in the lives of homeschool and traditional school students.
What We're Looking For:
Potential Days and Times Monday-Friday 9:00-6:00 (Part-time with potential for full time as interest arises) A skilled and adaptable teacher with a passion for education and a love of learning. Someone with expertise in specific subjects, hobbies, or skills they're excited to share. A creative thinker eager to develop engaging, hands-on classes for diverse learners. A professional who values flexibility and the joy of teaching over the stress of traditional school systems. Someone who doesn't need benefits or paid time off but values a supportive, low-stress teaching environment.
What You'll Do:
Develop and teach a variety of classes tailored to your interests and strengths. Inspire students with innovative and personalized instruction. Contribute to a welcoming, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment. Work collaboratively to expand the learning opportunities offered at our studio.
What We Offer:
Flexible scheduling to fit your lifestyle. Creative freedom to design and teach classes in subjects you're passionate about. A supportive, low-stress work environment focused on the joy of teaching. Opportunities to work with motivated homeschool families and students in a unique studio setting.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experienced teacher, tutor, or subject-matter expert. A lifelong learner with a passion for education. Independent and self-motivated, with strong organizational skills. Excited about working in a non-traditional education setting. Open to teaching a range of classes (academic, arts, life skills, and enrichment) based on personal expertise and interests. Potential Teaching Opportunities 4th-12th Grade Learning Lounge / Drop-In Academic Support Support homeschool students in grades 4-12 as they work through their parent-provided curriculum. Students work independently with an educator available to provide instruction, clarification, organization, and academic support as needed. This is not a traditional classroom teaching position and does not require creating an entire curriculum. Small-Group ASD Classes Grades K-3rd Work with very small groups of approximately 3-4 students with Autism Spectrum Disorder for 1-2 hours at a time. These classes are designed to help students gradually acclimate to a small-group academic setting while developing classroom readiness, communication, social-emotional, and learning skills. Extracurricular & Enrichment Days Grades PreK-5th Lead small groups of elementary-aged students through engaging activities such as art, STEAM, science experiments, cooking, games, movement, and other hands-on learning experiences. These days are designed to give students opportunities to learn, create, socialize, and explore in a relaxed small-group environment. Opportunities may be available on Mondays and/or Fridays. Private Teaching Grades Prek-12th Grade Provide one-on-one instruction using the student's existing curriculum. The educator works through the curriculum lesson by lesson, providing the direct teaching, guidance, and academic support the student needs. Tutoring may include reading, writing, math, study skills, or other academic areas depending on the educator's background and experience.
