The student is in 10th grade. He has ADHD and failed Algebra 1 last year, so he will be retaking that class as well as Geometry this year. He wants to work with a tutor for concept clarification and test prep support so he can feel more confident in math and build a strong foundation. The student's goal are to pass Algebra 1 and comfortably conquer Geometry with the potential to exceed expectations while building a strong mathematical foundation. This approach requires mastering core principles, practicing actively, and leveraging step-by-step. The family is seeking 1 hour sessions 2 times a week between 5pm-8pm any day Monday through Friday. The family is seeking a tutor who can meet at their home in Bradenton near Bayshore Elementary School and the Bayshore Gardens neighborhood. Qualifications Ideal candidates will have experience teaching/tutoring high school students. Ideal candidates will have experience teaching/tutoring Algebra & Geometry. Ideal candidates will have a teaching certification. You are willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles).
