In-Home & Online Tutor — Orange Park, Fleming Island & Oakleaf, FL SmartPath Tutors is a Northeast Florida tutoring company providing personalized, one-on-one instruction in math, reading, writing, and SAT/ACT prep for students of all ages, both online and in-person. We work with traditional school families as well as a large and growing homeschool community, and we're proud to be Step Up for Students eligible, making quality tutoring accessible to more local families. We're looking to add an experienced, reliable tutor to our team to serve families in the Orange Park, Fleming Island, and Oakleaf area. What you'll do Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions, in-person and/or online, on a flexible schedule that works around your availability Assess each student's current level and tailor lessons to their strengths, needs, and learning style Communicate regularly with parents on progress and next steps Follow a student's existing curriculum when needed, or bring your own approach and materials What we're looking for Tutoring or classroom teaching experience (certified teachers and education majors encouraged to apply) Strong subject knowledge in one or more of: elementary math and reading, math through Algebra 2/Geometry, ELA/reading/writing, or SAT/ACT prep Reliable transportation for in-person sessions in the Orange Park, Fleming Island, and Oakleaf areas Patient, encouraging teaching style with strong communication skills Comfortable working as a 1099 independent contractor Why tutor with us Flexible schedule — set your own availability Competitive per-session pay We handle scheduling, client matching, and payment collection so you can focus on teaching Be part of a supportive, growing local tutoring team

Pay:

$50.00 - $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 20.0 per week
