About the student 9th grade student The student needs to work with a tutor for support with Honors Algebra. The student is a very good student who has a strong understanding of all subjects, with the exception of math. While he is not currently struggling, he wants to ensure that he fully understands the concepts he is learning and is building a strong foundation. He would like additional one-on-one, in-depth tutoring to strengthen his understanding of math concepts, stay confident in his abilities, and ensure that he does not fall behind in class or with his grades. The goal is for the student to raise and maintain his grade while building an understanding of the material. The family is asking for 1 hour sessions 2 times a week, between 9:30am-10:30am, any day Monday through Friday. The family is asking for a tutor who can meet at the school the student will be having the sessions at in Palatka. Qualifications Ideal candidates have prior experience working with high school students. Ideal candidates will have prior experience tutoring or teaching math. Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles) Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor.
Student Availability MON-FRI:
9:30am-10:30am Pay & Benefits $27.00- 30.00 per hour Flexible schedule
