We provide one-on-one tutoring for students from Pre-K through college in a variety of subjects and educational settings, including public school, private school, homeschool, and virtual learning. Position Overview As a Tutor with Tutors Who Care, you'll provide individualized instruction that helps students strengthen academic skills, build confidence, and achieve their educational goals. Assignments are matched based on your experience, subject expertise, preferred grade levels, availability, and geographic location. Tutoring opportunities are available both in-home and online. Responsibilities Deliver engaging one-on-one instruction tailored to each student's learning style and goals. Develop lesson plans and instructional strategies based on student needs. Support classroom learning, homework completion, test preparation, and academic enrichment. Track student progress and communicate regularly with parents or guardians. Foster a positive, encouraging, and professional learning environment. Arrive prepared, on time, and maintain reliable communication. Adapt teaching methods for students with varying academic abilities and learning styles. Subjects Needed We are seeking tutors across a wide range of subjects, including: Elementary Education (All Subjects) Reading & Literacy Mathematics (Elementary through Calculus) English & Writing Science Social Studies & History Spanish and other World Languages

& Test Preparation Executive Functioning & Study Skills Homeschool Instruction AP, Honors & Dual Enrollment Courses College Admissions & Academic Coaching Early Childhood Education Preferred Experience We welcome tutors with experience in: Classroom teaching Private or independent tutoring Homeschool education Special education Reading intervention Math intervention Gifted education Test preparation Students with ADHD, dyslexia, autism spectrum disorder, or other learning differences Working with high-achieving students and academic enrichment Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Teaching certification is preferred but not required. Minimum of 10 years of teaching or tutoring experience. Strong knowledge of your subject area(s). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional, dependable, and student-focused. Reliable transportation for in-home tutoring assignments.
