About the student 11th grade student The student needs to work with a tutor for support with her AP Chemistry class. Mom would like a tutor with strong subject background. The student is a 11th grader attending Vero Beach High School. She is struggling with AP Chemistry and needs academic support to improve her understanding and performance in the class. The goal is to improve the academic performance of the student. To strengthen her understanding of AP Chemistry, improve her class performance, and build confidence with the material. The family wants 1 hour sessions once a week either on Saturday between 10am-4pm or Sunday between 1pm-5pm. The family is seeking a tutor who can meet at the Indian River County Main Library at 1600 21st Street in Vero Beach. Qualifications Ideal candidates have prior experience working with high school students. Ideal candidates will have prior experience teaching/tutoring high school chemistry. Ideal candidates have a strong chemistry background. Ideal candidates will have a teaching certification. Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles) Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor.
