Job Description
Middle & High School Academic Tutor - After School We are seeking a knowledgeable and dependable Academic Tutor to work with middle and high school students in an after-school setting. This is a flexible, as-needed position. Hours are based on student enrollment and will increase as our after-school program grows. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one and small-group academic support Assist students with Math, ELA/Writing, Science, and History Help with homework, assignments, test preparation, and difficult concepts Explain material clearly and break down concepts when students are struggling Keep students focused, engaged, and accountable Requirements MUST be comfortable and knowledgeable with middle AND high school-level curriculum Strong academic skills, especially in core subjects Comfortable teaching Patient, reliable, professional, and organized Previous tutoring, teaching, or academic support experience is preferred. College students with a strong academic background are encouraged to apply. Schedule After-school hours | Flexible / As Needed Hours will vary depending on scheduled students. As enrollment increases, additional hours will become available.
