Job Description

Position ends on May 27, 2027 with possibility of renewal in August 2027. Substitute EA pay

$20.03/hr We are looking for Substitute Educational Assistants to support students both inside and outside of the classroom. If you are positive, trustworthy, enjoy working with children in grades pre school
grade 6, are reliable and caring please apply. In this position you may support small groups or the teacher inside of the classroom. You will have to be comfortable with reading, writing and math at the elementary level. Work will typically be between 7:00 am
3:30 pm and up to 40 hours a week.

Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or an alternative to a high school diploma. TB clearance (dated not more than 1 year ago) required. Background check required. Substitute Educational Assistants may also be interested in applying for Substitute PPT DIS positions within the school. Most Substitute Educational Assistants also work as Substitute PPTs. PPT DIS pay

$21.76/hr Work will typically be between 7:00 am
2:30 pm and up to 19 hours a week.

Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or an alternative to a high school diploma. TB clearance (dated not more than 1 year ago) required. Background check required. Must meet

ESS/NCLB

Paraprofessional requirements via one of the following: 1. 48 semester credits, 100 level or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher education, must have a minimum of: c. 3 credits math, and d. 3 credits in English OR 2. Associates degree or higher from an institution of higher education with institutional accreditation recognized by the USDOE; OR 3. Passing score of 459 or higher on the ParaPro Assessment provided by Educational Testing Service.
