As a vital part of our educational community, you will empower students to produce engaging podcasts while honing your coaching and mentoring abilities in a lively, supportive environment. Responsibilities Provide engaging instruction on podcast creation, including planning, recording, editing, and publishing episodes Mentor students through the entire podcasting process, offering constructive feedback and encouragement Develop tailored lesson plans that cater to different skill levels and learning styles Foster a positive learning environment that promotes creativity, teamwork, and effective communication Assist students in developing their unique voice and storytelling techniques Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities, including equipment use and studio sessions Maintain clear communication with students and parents/guardians regarding progress and expectations Education At least two years of higher education preferred. Relevant training or experience in education, mentoring, and media. Requirements Prior experience with podcasting or media production is highly desirable Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage learners of all ages Experience working with children or youth in educational or extracurricular settings Knowledge of audio editing software and podcasting tools is a plus Background in coaching or mentoring, especially in creative or media-related fields Familiarity with health and safety procedures, including first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Passion for empowering others through education, storytelling, and digital media Ability to manage behavior effectively and create an inclusive learning environment At least two years of higher education preferred. Relevant training or experience in education, mentoring, and media. Willingness to learn podcast and Adobe Creative Cloud tools

Pay:

$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 per week
