nhuff@vinu.edu Description This position requires a background in a Humanities field (i.e. English, Literature, Philosophy, Art, Music, etc.). Job duties include tutoring students individually or in small groups in a Humanities subject, maintaining records of tutoring sessions, administering tests for faculty and maintaining testing records, overseeing student workers, and participating in supervisor approved training and professional development workshops. Requirements Associate or Bachelor degree in a Humanities field Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Experience tutoring students individually or in small groups General working knowledge of common computer hardware/software; knowledge of programs like Blackboard and Google Suite preferred Work collaboratively with the College of Humanities faculty and staff to provide high-quality services to students Interested applicants should submit a Vincennes University application, cover letter, resume/cv, and full contact information for three professional references.
