Job Overview We are seeking experienced, dedicated Academic Coaches to join our dynamic team and work with middle school and high school students in their homes in Central MA or MetroWest, online, or in our Center in West Boylston. In this role, you will provide tailored academic guidance, mentoring, and academic support that promotes their academic success and personal growth. Depending upon the student, you may need to do some subject specific tutoring as well. Your enthusiasm for education and strong communication skills will help motivate students to reach their full potential while ensuring a positive and engaging learning environment. A reliable vehicle is necessary. You must be a dedicated person. Duties Deliver personalized academic coaching sessions focused on organizational skills, time management, study strategies, and motivation. Tutor students in subjects like math, ELA, and science. Mentor students through individual sessions, fostering confidence and resilience. Collaborate with educators and school staff to ensure compliance with educational regulations and school policies. Conduct continual, informal assessments of student needs using analysis skills to tailor coaching approaches effectively. Support students from diverse cultural backgrounds by creating an inclusive, respectful environment that encourages open communication. Experience Proven experience working with middle school or high school students in a one on one tutoring environment. Strong public speaking and communication skills capable of engaging learners at various levels. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds while providing exceptional customer service. Prior experience in public or private school settings or teaching roles that showcase teaching skills, a wide knowledge base, and a passion for education.
