Job Description
Weston Public Schools is seeking qualified tutors to provide short-term academic instruction and support to high school students. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience providing instruction in high school English and/or mathematics. Responsibilities Provide individualized academic instruction and support to high school students. Deliver instruction consistent with students' educational needs and assigned coursework. Collaborate with appropriate school staff regarding instructional priorities and student progress. Maintain reliable attendance and communicate regularly with designated District staff. Complete any required documentation related to tutoring services. Schedule Up to 10 hours per week. Tutoring may take place during the school day and/or after school, depending on student needs and tutor availability. This is a temporary, short-term assignment. Qualifications Strong knowledge of high school-level English and/or mathematics. Teaching, tutoring, or other relevant experience working with high school students preferred. Massachusetts educator licensure preferred but not required. Experience working with students with diverse learning needs is preferred. Ability to provide individualized instruction and establish positive relationships with students. Dependable, flexible, and able to communicate effectively with students and school staff.
