Job Description
We are building a pool of qualified tutors for the 2026-2027 school year. Axiom Educators provides high-impact tutoring to Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS) in core subjects, including Math, Science, English, and Social Studies. Tutors work on-site during the regular school day. Applicants who complete our vetting process will be placed in a local school as assignments become available.
Pay Rate:
$30-$32/hour
Schedule & Hours:
Applicants must be available between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM on weekdays. Anticipate anywhere from 2 to 5 days per week and 12 to 30 hours per week Actual days and hours will vary by school placement
Responsibilities:
Provide small-group or one-on-one tutoring support in a core subject during the school day Work collaboratively with school staff to align tutoring sessions with student learning goals Maintain regular attendance and punctuality consistent with your assigned school's schedule
Qualifications:
Minimum of 9 completed college credits ( Bachelor's degree preferred ) Strong communication skills Background working with children Strong work ethic A genuine interest in making a positive difference in the local community

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a PGCPS-administered background check.
