21st Century- Program Director The 21st CCLC program provides academic enrichment opportunities to complement student's regular academic programs and offers literacy and other educational services to the families of participating children.
General Functions and Responsibilities:
Facilitate academic programming with small groups of Club members and whole group extension activities as needs for elementary school students. Administer the Quick Phonics Screener to determine which phonetic skills members know. Develop engaging and enriching lesson plans which correlate with QPS skill sets.
Position Qualifications:
Some college required. Teaching experience preferred. Experience facilitating quality programs for youth, preferably educational programs. Strong communications skills, both verbal and written, and strong presentation skills Group leadership skills, including an understanding of group dynamics. Ability to organize and multi-task a variety of responsibilities and deadlines.
