Responsibilities Deliver one-on-one and group tutoring sessions in mathematics, including algebra, geometry, calculus, differential equations, and discrete math. Develop customized lesson plans and curriculum materials that align with students' needs and educational goals. Incorporate various learning technologies and digital resources to enhance understanding and engagement during online instruction. Assist students with test preparation strategies for standardized exams and school assessments across math and science disciplines such as chemistry, biology, microbiology, physiology, biochemistry, genetics, organic chemistry, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, data structures, machine learning, and more. Support students in developing critical thinking skills through problem-solving exercises and real-world applications of math concepts. Manage classroom dynamics effectively while maintaining a positive learning environment tailored for children, teenagers, or adult learners. Track student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their academic objectives. Collaborate with parents or educators when necessary to ensure comprehensive support for each student's success. Qualifications Proven experience teaching or tutoring mathematics at various levels; prior classroom experience is highly valued. Strong knowledge of core math subjects including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, differential equations, discrete math, and related sciences such as chemistry (organic chemistry), biology (microbiology, genetics), physiology (anatomy knowledge), chemical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, data structures, machine learning, and early childhood education. Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning tailored for diverse age groups—from preschool to higher education—especially with teenagers. Proficiency in using learning technology platforms and digital tools for online instruction. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with students of all backgrounds and skill levels. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple sessions while maintaining detailed records of student progress. Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs in both virtual and in-person settings.
