Breakaway Prep is seeking passionate and sociable Math tutors available to work in multiple offices. Tutors who join our team set their own schedules for one-on-one sessions. Compensation starts at $40 per hour. About us Breakaway Prep is a boutique tutoring and test prep company based in Chatham, NJ, with offices in Summit, Millburn, Maplewood, Livingston, Morristown, Westfield, Berkeley Heights, and Montclair. We primarily work with students in grades 7-12, providing instruction for the

SAT, ACT, ISEE/SSAT, AP

exams, as well as specific academic subjects.

Requirements:

1. 1+ years of experience tutoring or teaching Math (Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Pre-calculus, and/or Calculus) 2. Bachelor's Degree 3. Has reliable transportation 4. Passion for teaching middle and high school students and strong social skills 5. Strong verbal and written communicator 6. Multiple positive references 7. Experience with SAT and/or ACT test preparation preferred (training provided for strong candidates).

Selected candidates may be asked to complete a brief online skills assessment in SAT/ACT math to demonstrate subject mastery.
