Professional Rank and Salary Range:
SL-3 (salary is dependent on qualifications as listed below) Bachelor's level candidates: $20/hour
Master's:
$25/hour Doctorate or other specialized credentials: $30/hour
Duration:
College Year (this position follows the 10-month academic schedule)
Schedule:
Part time, up to 10 hours/week. Work hours may vary based on student need and candidate availability, may be during the day or evening, on weekdays or weekends.

Brief Description of Duties:
SUNY Morrisville seeks Professional Tutors to support our Tutoring Center! Common focuses of tutoring support include composition/writing, math, biology, nursing, and other subjects taught on campus.
Primary Responsibilities:
Tutoring students one-on-one or in small groups. Tutoring usually occurs in person but may also occur virtually if needed. Keeping records of tutoring sessions Participating in staff meetings and ongoing tutor training
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Teams/Outlook/Word/Excel/Ppt) Preferred Qualifications Master's or higher education level, preferable in field of focus or education Experience teaching or tutoring at the post-secondary level
