Job Description

Overview The Study Hub is hiring Reading Tutors at our West Edmond and East Edmond locations! Join our team to provide individualized, one-on-one reading instruction that helps students build literacy skills and confidence. We're looking for dependable, caring educators who are eager to learn and apply teaching practices aligned with the Science of Reading. In this paid role, you'll use structured curricula, adapt lessons to students' needs, and support learners, including those with dyslexia. If you're committed to showing up prepared, growing your instructional skills, and helping students become stronger readers, we'd love to hear from you! Duties Deliver individualized reading instruction aligned with the Science of Reading, using explicit, systematic teaching and established curricula. Plan engaging lessons that develop phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. Adapt instruction to support students with dyslexia and other learning needs. Monitor student progress and use assessment results to guide instruction. Be dependable, punctual, and prepared for each session, providing consistent support for students. Demonstrate a willingness to learn, participate in training, accept feedback, and apply new instructional strategies. Maintain a positive, structured learning environment that builds student confidence. Communicate clearly with families and team members about student progress and learning goals. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or early childhood education Strong knowledge of literacy education principles, lesson planning, and instructional adaptability Experience working with students with disabilities or in special education environments is highly desirable Proficiency in English language instruction, writing skills, and classroom management techniques Familiarity with learning technology tools and e-learning platforms used for remote or hybrid teaching Excellent communication skills and a passion for fostering student growth through tutoring and individualized instructions Join us in empowering learners through innovative teaching methods and dedicated support. Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 4.0 - 20.0 per week
