Job Description

POSITION

21st Century Learning Center Peer Tutors

LOCATION

WSK8 or Bridges High School. Please include location of choice.

•Peer tutors would be responsible for getting themselves to Warm Springs K-8 Academy. However, they could ride the bus home after the program.

CLOSING DATE

Until Filled

START DATE

Sept 23-24 Orientation/Training 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM

Program start date: Sept 28th

PROGRAM HOURS

Monday mornings late start; Mon-Thurs after school until 5:30

PM SALARY:

$14.55/hr

Peer tutors would be working with students K-8th grade, helping with homework and assisting the teachers as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be a 509J High School 15+ years old, sophomore, junior, or senior
  • Early Childhood Education Course Pathway preference
  • Prior peer tutor experience
  • Must demonstrate good academics and behavior records

•Employment contingent upon fingerprinting.
