The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching Mandarin and other languages, with experience in curriculum development, classroom management, and integrating learning technology. This role involves creating customized lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students' literacy and language acquisition goals. Candidates with experience working with children are highly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to students' age and proficiency levels Deliver engaging lessons in Mandarin, incorporating modern learning technology and interactive methods Manage classroom dynamics effectively to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment Adapt teaching strategies for students with diverse needs, including special education or early childhood learners Assess student progress regularly and adjust lesson plans accordingly to ensure continuous improvement Incorporate literacy education techniques to enhance reading and writing skills in Mandarin and other languages Support students' language development through tutoring sessions focused on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills Collaborate with parents or guardians to communicate student progress and recommend additional resources or support if needed Maintain organized lesson plans, educational materials, and classroom resources Experience Proven experience in tutoring or teaching Mandarin as a second language Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and assessment strategies for language learners Experience working with children of various age groups Knowledge of learning technology tools used for language instruction and literacy education Experience working with students with special needs or in inclusive classrooms is desirable Strong writing skills for creating instructional materials and communicating effectively with students and parents
