Tutoring typically takes place after the school day, in-person or virtually. You bring the classroom experience and passion for student success and we'll offer heartwarming work, flexible schedules and great pay! Become part of a team where you are rewarded in more ways than one.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the student's curriculum
Provide homework support
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of the student, including those with accommodations
Utilize learning technologies that enhance instruction and engage students
Assess student's progress and provide timely tutoring session reports
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Valid teaching certification or license (or recently retired )
Experience working with students, preferably in a classroom setting
Knowledge of effective teaching strategies and instructional techniques
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders
