Tutoring typically takes place after the school day, in-person or virtually. You bring the classroom experience and passion for student success and we'll offer heartwarming work, flexible schedules and great pay! Become part of a team where you are rewarded in more ways than one.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the student's curriculum
  • Provide homework support
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of the student, including those with accommodations
  • Utilize learning technologies that enhance instruction and engage students
  • Assess student's progress and provide timely tutoring session reports
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • Valid teaching certification or license (or recently retired )
  • Experience working with students, preferably in a classroom setting
  • Knowledge of effective teaching strategies and instructional techniques
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders
