Minor League Manager:
Lead and develop players and staff in compliance with organizational standards and Minor League Baseball policies. Serve as the primary liaison between the team and front office, supporting player development, evaluation, and daily operations. Manage on-field strategy and in-game decisions. Supervise and evaluate staff, submitting performance reports to the Director of Player Development. Monitor individualized development plans and assist with player placement decisions. Maintain ongoing communication regarding injuries, roster moves, player progress, discipline, scouting, and affiliate operations. Evaluate opposing teams, league competition, and affiliate conditions. Complete special assignments as directed, including winter ball, instructional league, and early Spring Training duties. Work with instructional leagues and early-Spring Training (September to March) in Venice, Florida. Accept assignments with any Braves minor league affiliate based in N. Augusta, SC; Rome, Columbus, or Lawrenceville GA for baseball season (April to September) and accept team reassignments based on organizational needs during the season. Work nights, weekends and holidays and travel continuously with the team(s) as per game schedule during baseball season throughout the Southeast, Northeast and Midwest United States.
REQUIREMENTS
: 2 years experience in job offered, or as former professional, minor league, or collegiate baseball player; or coach or manager. Requires ability to work with instructional leagues in Fall and for pre-Spring Training (September to March) in Venice, Florida. Requires ability to accept assignments with any Braves minor league affiliate based in N. Augusta, SC; Rome, Columbus, or Lawrenceville GA for baseball season (April to September) and ability to accept team reassignments based on organizational needs during the season. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays and travel continuously with the team(s) as per game schedule during baseball season throughout the Southeast, Northeast and Midwest United States. Spanish language fluency is required.
