Job Description LEAP Academy University Charter School is seeking a reliable, organized, and energetic Game Day Assistant to support the Athletic Director with the coordination and management of athletic events. The Game Day Assistant will help ensure games run smoothly, safely, and professionally while providing support to student-athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators. The ideal candidate will be dependable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to communicate effectively with students, staff, families, and visitors. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience working at athletic events preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable and dependable. Ability to work evenings and scheduled athletic events. Ability to work effectively with students, staff, coaches, and spectators. Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to maintaining a safe and positive environment. Duties & Responsibilities Assist the Athletic Director with game-day operations and event management. Make announcements before, during, and after games. Conduct player introductions before games. Operate the scoreboard and assist with the game table crew as needed. Assist with event set-up and clean-up. Monitor the player handshake and post-game activities. Check in with home and away teams to identify and address their needs. Help keep non-players off the court before games, during halftime, and after games. Assist with safely directing spectators out of the gym following games. Sell and collect tickets at the door. Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment throughout athletic events. Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director or school administration.

School Year, Part-Time Game-Day Position Salary Range:
$25/ hr
