Responsible for enforcing the rules and regulations of basketball games; officiating and monitoring gameplay to ensure fair play and sportsmanlike conduct; making decisions on fouls, violations, and other infractions; communicating with coaches and players to resolve conflicts and answer questions; and keeping accurate records of game scores, fouls, and other important information.

Requirements:

Prior experience as a basketball referee or officiating experience in another sport; excellent knowledge of the rules and regulations of basketball; strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with players, coaches, and other officials effectively; a high degree of physical fitness and endurance to keep up with the pace of the game; ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations; and availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Summary As a Youth Basketball Referee, you will be a vital part of ensuring fair play and sportsmanship during basketball games for young athletes. With core skills in effective communication, you will be responsible for clearly and confidently enforcing game rules and resolving conflicts on the court. Your premium skills in basketball knowledge, sports coaching, and conflict management will enable you to provide a positive and educational experience for the players.
