We re looking for a League Commissioner who s obsessed with hospitality, bringing people together, and making league night one of the best nights of the week. At Picklewood, you ll be the face of our leagues - welcoming players, keeping matches organized and on time, tracking scores and standings, solving problems, and making sure the energy stays high on and off the court.

This is a hospitality-first role with pickleball at its center. You don t need to be the best player in the building, but you should know the game, be comfortable on the court, and have the confidence to run the room.

If you love people, friendly competition, fast-paced environments, and being part of the party while keeping everything running smoothly, this is your court.

What You ll DoCall the matches and run the show: Welcome players, kick off league nights, communicate formats and rules, manage court assignments, and keep play moving from first serve to match point.

Keep the league in rally mode: Track scores and standings, manage substitutions, no-shows, late arrivals, and schedule changes so the night stays organized and on time.

Ace the player experience: Learn names, welcome new players, connect people, encourage good sportsmanship, and make sure everyone feels like part of the Picklewood community.

Bring the energy: Create excitement around matchups, standings, playoffs, championships, and friendly rivalries while keeping league night social, engaging, and fun.

Make the right calls: Confidently answer common pickleball questions, help resolve scoring or rule disputes, and know when to bring in management.

Keep the party going: Connect players with food, drinks, events, open play, future leagues, and other Picklewood experiences that keep them hanging around after the final match.

Be part of the Picklewood team: Work alongside Front Desk, Floor, Servers, and Management, jump in wherever needed, and help keep courts and shared spaces clean, organized, and game-ready.

Net every detail: Communicate clearly, use our systems accurately, solve problems in the moment, and make sure players leave excited to come back next week.

What We re Looking ForCommitment to delivering an excellent guest experience through hospitality, energy, and teamwork.

Outgoing, approachable personality with a genuine ability to make people feel welcome and included.

Strong organization and the ability to manage multiple matches, players, and moving pieces at once.

Confidence speaking to groups, giving direction, making decisions, and keeping the night moving.

Ability to stay calm, adaptable, and solutions-focused when plans change or competition gets spirited.

Intermediate pickleball knowledge, including scoring, rules and basic positioning/strategy Comfortable stepping onto a court and playing when needed. (advanced playing or coaching experience is not required)Ability to balance structure with fun! Can you keep things on schedule without killing the vibe?

Clear and professional communication with players, guests, team members, and leadership.

Reliable, punctual, and available evenings and weekends when most leagues take place.

Hospitality, restaurant, bar, event, recreation, sports, or customer-service experience is a major plus.

Genuine enthusiasm for pickleball, people, and creating a welcoming, high-energy environment.
