Our goal is to help young learners develop their unique interests, guiding them toward responsible global citizenship and lifelong growth. Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Montessori Teacher with at least 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units and AMI/AMS Montessori certification to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will lead classroom activities, develop engaging curricula, and support children's developmental milestones in a dynamic Montessori setting. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young learners and foster a love of discovery. Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate Montessori-based lesson plans that promote independence, curiosity, and critical thinking Create a positive, engaging classroom environment that supports children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies aligned with Montessori principles Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, achievements, and any concerns Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum development strategies that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical education, and early intervention techniques Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of student progress and incidents Support children with special educational needs by adapting activities for inclusive learning experiences Experience Prior classroom experience working with young children in a Montessori or early childhood education setting Demonstrated knowledge of child development instruction, classroom management, and behavior management techniques Experience developing curriculum that includes literacy education, math, physical education, and preschool activities Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child welfare practices Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children of diverse backgrounds Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification upon hire is expected Experience working with children requiring early intervention or special education services is a plus Join us at LiMai Montessori Academy to make a meaningful difference in children's lives through inspiring teaching practices!
