Qualifications and Required Skills:
Valid state teaching license with a Middle School ELA endorsement. Bilingual Certification or Endorsement (Spanish/English). Demonstrated experience teaching middle school students. Familiarity with bilingual curriculum and instructional strategies. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Enthusiasm for creating a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement ELA curriculum tailored to bilingual (Spanish/English) learners. Develop lesson plans that support academic, linguistic, and social-emotional growth. Foster a welcoming, responsive classroom environment where all students feel valued. Collaborate with fellow educators to refine instructional strategies and bilingual best practices. Assess and report student progress toward learning objectives, providing feedback and individualized support. Engage with families to encourage ongoing partnership and student success.
