Position Overview Job Title:

Vocational Instructor (Part-Time)

Schedule:

Monday

•Thursday, 8:00 AM

•12:00

PM Pay Range:

$19.00

•$22.00 / hour

Key Responsibilities Hands-On Instruction:

Teach practical job skills and provide on-the-job training adapted to meet each student's unique learning needs.

Community Collaboration:

Partner and communicate effectively with local businesses and organizations to facilitate mutually beneficial vocational opportunities.

Student Growth & Tracking:

Collect weekly student performance data and provide quarterly progress reports to highlight growth and achievements.

Safe Transportation:

Transport students safely to and from community job sites.

Qualifications & Requirements Experience:

1-2 years of experience working with individuals with learning and intellectual disabilities (independent school experience preferred).

Skills & Passion:

Strong written, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with an ability to integrate technology into instruction in a fast-paced environment.

Core Requirements:

Passion for special education and Riverview's mission. Current, valid driver's license and comfort driving students. Clear background checks (CORI, SORI, DCF) and fingerprinting clearance. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (we are not considering visa applicants at this time). Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required. Ready to Join Our Community?
