Job Description

Step into an exciting opportunity to inspire creativity as an Art Teacher in a contract position located near Elmira, NY. Key Qualifications:
Current New York State Teaching License with valid Art endorsements or certifications Experience in general education and effective classroom management Strong background in designing and facilitating engaging visual arts lessons Dedication to fostering creativity while meeting diverse learners' needs Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset Flexibility to work onsite full-time at the assigned location
Core Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess dynamic art lessons aligned with New York State standards Adapt instruction to accommodate varying skill levels and abilities Maintain a safe, nurturing, and organized classroom environment Assess and document student progress using appropriate tools and methods Collaborate with other educators, administrators, and families to ensure optimal learning experiences Engage students in art projects that encourage creativity, self-expression, and technique
