Student will build lesson plans and frameworks for elementary educators to create and teach integrated inquiry-based social studies lessons that highlight primary sources, historical and civic skills, and the use of the creative arts to teach civics and history. Student will also communicate with peers and in-service teachers to empower educators seeking to incorporate civics and history instruction via integrated, interdisciplinary instruction.
