Make a Difference Through Employment and Education The Huron County Board of DD is seeking a full-time Project Life Instructor to help student interns build the skills, confidence, and experience they need to prepare for employment. The Project Life Instructor provides hands-on vocational instruction and training using the Project Life curriculum. This position works directly with interns, community businesses, families, and other partners to create meaningful learning and employment opportunities. What You'll Do Help interns identify their strengths, interests, abilities, and career goals. Provide individual and group instruction in workplace and employability skills. Help identify community job sites that match interns' interests and abilities. Build relationships with local businesses and community partners. Develop and use lesson plans and approved Project Life curriculum. Create a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment. Track progress and complete required reports and documentation. Work closely with staff, families, guardians, providers, and community partners. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys teaching, coaching, problem-solving, and helping others succeed . The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable working in community settings, and able to communicate effectively with a variety of people.

Qualifications include:

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university. One to three years of related experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work effectively with the public. Basic computer skills, including word processing. Valid Ohio driver's license.
