The Tuscarora Intermediate Unit invites applicants for a Business/Computer Technology Instructor at Trough Creek Youth Forestry Camp. Fundamental Duties:

Provide training and instruction to assigned students. Develop and implement individualized plans of instruction (IPI). Prepare and submit reports as required. Provide learning support to the assigned students. Keep staff abreast of students' programs. Develop/maintain updated student records and reports. Attend in-services and workshop meetings, as required. Maintain the care and inventory of books, supplies, etc., provided by the IU. Adhere to all Institutional and IU security, safety and program requirements. Ability to utilize technology for instructional and classroom management purposes. Report to the Educational Director or designee any problems or concerns which may arise. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director of Correctional and Alternative Education or designee.

Ability to communicate effectively in writing, using the English language. Ability to lift and carry 50 pound items. Ability to instruct -Microsoft Office and other related computer applications

Possess a Pennsylvania Certificate for Instructional I or II, Business/Communication Information Technology Instructor Degree or related Business/Computer degree Correctional education Experience Preferred A review of this job description has excluded the marginal functions of the position that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. Pay:

$55,119.00 - $74,223.00 per year
