Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Instructor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in their subject area and demonstrate the ability to engage and inspire students. This role involves delivering high-quality instruction, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting student success through effective teaching strategies. Responsibilities Teach programming, robotics, and game development using iCode's curriculum. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students thrive. Track and report student progress through the iCode belt system. Provide weekly updates to parents and staff on student development. Maintain classroom management, ensuring a productive and safe learning space. Collaborate with fellow instructors to enhance teaching methods and student engagement.

Skills Required:

Proficiency in at least two of the following:

Programming:

Python, JavaScript, Scratch Game Engines:

Minecraft, Roblox Studio Robotics:

 VEX Robots Experience teaching or mentoring K-12 students (formal or informal). Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to simplify complex concepts for young learners. Reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic about STEM education. Preferred (Bonus Skills): Experience with Minecraft modding, Roblox development, or Agile methodologies. Background in computer science, engineering, or education. Familiarity classroom management tools.
