Location:
 Lynnwood, WA Job Summary We are seeking an experienced System Engineer with a strong background in aerospace and avionics systems development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with aerospace certification standards including ARP4754, DO-178, DO-254, and DO-160, and will be responsible for system-level requirements, design, development, integration, verification, and certification support for airborne electronic systems. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage system requirements, architecture, and design for avionics/aerospace products. Perform requirements analysis, decomposition, traceability, and validation activities. Collaborate with hardware, software, test, and certification teams throughout the product lifecycle. Support compliance activities related to ARP4754A, DO-178C, DO-254, and DO-160 standards. Define and execute system integration, verification, and validation plans. Conduct system-level testing and support qualification/certification efforts. Prepare and review engineering documentation, including requirements specifications, interface control documents, verification procedures, and certification artifacts. Perform technical risk assessments and support issue resolution during development and testing phases. Work closely with customers, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful program execution. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 7 years of experience in aerospace, avionics, or safety-critical systems engineering. Strong experience with:
ARP4754A
 (System Development Process) DO-178C (Airborne Software Certification) DO-254 (Airborne Electronic Hardware Certification) DO-160 (Environmental Testing and Qualification) Experience in requirements management tools such as DOORS, Jama, or equivalent. Familiarity with system engineering lifecycle, V-model development process, and certification methodologies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
