Lay out electrical chase routing, panel splines, window/door openings, and connection details within panels to match approved architectural and electrical plans. Collaborate with engineers, estimating, project management, and the General Manager to ensure drawings meet project specifications and timelines. Coordinate building components and connections between SIPs, framing, and other systems. Prepare submittal packages (panel layouts, shop drawings, R-value/assembly documentation) for architect, engineer, and code-official review. Produce accurate and comprehensive material takeoffs, and verify panel counts and dimensions against approved drawings and home kit packages. Revise and maintain design documentation, drawing logs, and revision control throughout each project's lifecycle. Identify potential design or constructability issues and recommend solutions before production. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and best practices, including Alaska Building Energy Efficiency Standards. Degree or certification in drafting, architecture, or a related field preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be a United States citizen. Preferred Advanced Revit experience with SIPs or similar panelized building systems. Familiarity with Alaska Building Energy Efficiency Standards, cold-climate building assemblies, and residential code requirements. Experience with SketchUp or similar 3D visualization tools.
