This is a full-time ONSITE role for a Computer Aided Design (CAD) Drafter.
THIS IS NOT A REMOTE OR HYBRID ROLE
. The CAD Drafter will be responsible for creating technical, engineering, and architectural drawings using CAD tools. The role involves collaborating with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate, precise designs; maintaining documentation; and making modifications as necessary to meet project specifications and deadlines. Attention to detail, efficiency, and adherence to engineering standards are key to success in this role.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Project Development :
Work under the supervision of senior engineers to support the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects.
Technical Documentation :
Create and maintain technical documentation, including reports, specifications, and project plans.
CAD Support :
Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) to design components and systems.
Data Analysis :
Analyze data and generate reports to support project goals and objectives.
Collaboration :
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met and to provide progress updates.
Problem Solving :
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving engineering issues as they arise during project execution.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proficiency in Technical Drawing, Engineering Drawings, and Architectural Drawings Experience with architectural drawings and creating detailed project designs Expertise in CAD software and processes strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate with engineers, architects, and project teams Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines while working independently Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology. Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments.
Education and Experience:
Experience with refrigeration, HVAC, or mechanical design is a plus Associate degree in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field preferred

Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
