Position Summary:

Using CAD equipment and software, the Temp Cad Designer supports Engineering Team preparing layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches and diagrams for sheet metal, tubing, and wire metal fabrication. The essential functions include, but are not limited, to the following:

• Uses computer assisted design/drafting equipment and software to develop designs.
• Checks dimensions of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project.
• Drafts detailed multiview drawings of products, including flat patterns and press breaks.
• Communicates with Engineering, Account Executives, and Manufacturing team regarding new and revised prints.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. High skill level in SolidWorks. 2. Must have a good understanding of mathematics, geometry and their applications 3. Must have good communication skills. 4. Must work well with the project team and others. 5. Must be self-motivated and have good time management skills. 6. Must have a professional attitude.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Drafting and Design or equivalent work experience. 2. Proficient in Solidworks , Microsoft Office. AutoDesk Inventor a plus

Work Remotely No Pay:

$19.00 - $24.00 per hour
