Junior Interior Designer / AutoCAD Drafter - Part-Time | Encinitas + Remote I'm looking for a recent interior design graduate with strong AutoCAD skills to join my interior design practice in Encinitas. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain hands-on experience working on real residential design projects while continuing to develop their technical and design skills. The position will be a combination of working from my Encinitas office, visiting job sites and showrooms, attending project meetings, and working remotely from home.

Responsibilities will include:

Assisting with AutoCAD drawings, floor plans, and elevations Attending job-site meetings and taking field measurements Visiting showrooms and sourcing materials, finishes, and furnishings Assisting with FF&E selections and specifications Communicating with vendors and gathering product information Providing general design and project support I will personally provide training in detailed design-development drawings and elevations , as well as guidance on FF&E selection, specifications, and the overall design process.

Requirements:

Recent graduate in Interior Design or a related field Proficient in AutoCAD Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn Comfortable visiting job sites and showrooms throughout North County San Diego Reliable transportation The position will start part-time with the potential to grow into a full-time role.
