Drafter Job Overview :

Delta Scientific is looking for a motivated self-starter to assist the engineering team in creating drawings and helping design, build & check our Guard Booths & Kiosks. Candidate should have an understanding of reading and creating mechanical drawings for manufacturing. Ideal candidates will display an ability to identify any problems that arise and perform the actions needed to fix them.

Responsibilities:

Working between engineering and manufacturing departments to ensure products are manufactured to our quality standards; support engineering team by completing drawings in a timely manner. Working with the shop to make sure they have the proper drawings. Misc. other tasks as required by the projects being worked on.

Skills/Qualifications:

Minimum 1-3 years SolidWorks drafting experience Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Must be able to work with a team to achieve a common goal with quickly changing job duties daily.

Education:

High School Graduate Experience:

• 1-3 years SolidWorks drafting experience

• AutoCAD/DraftSight is a plus
