The CAD Designer will create custom designs for industrial projects. C & H Solutions provides multiple services: solids control, fabrication and welding, trucking, engineering, dirt construction, custom farming and more! CAD Designer Job Duties:
Effectively communicate design concepts, ask questions, and collaborate with customers and team members to develop functional solutions that meet project expectations. Develop detailed blueprints and fabrication drawings for custom projects, including measurements, material takeoffs, welding symbols, specifications, and step-by-step build instructions to support customer bids and ensure projects are completed accurately to specification. Demonstrate resourcefulness, creativity, and out-of-the-box thinking when developing solutions for unique and custom projects. Design and assist with the fabrication and construction of custom and special projects. Develop accurate material and cut lists for the fabrication and welding departments. Demonstrate proficiency using SolidWorks for 3D modeling, drafting, and design. Prepare and upload files and safely operate the plasma table to produce required components. Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials. Assist with research and development projects, including developing and testing new designs and fabrication solutions. Prioritize multiple projects and manage tasks through completion while meeting deadlines. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy throughout the design and fabrication process. The ideal applicant would be a good communicator, self-motivated, reliable and detail-orientated. The CAD Designer must have an acceptable driving record as reflected by MVR. The CAD Designer will be subject to pre-employment and random drug testing, as well as a pre-employment physical.
