Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Senior Interior Designer/Drafter to join our innovative design team. In this role, you will lead the development of comprehensive interior design concepts, create detailed construction documentation, and produce compelling 3D visualizations for residential interior projects. Your expertise will drive the transformation of client visions into functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces while ensuring building code compliance and project feasibility. Responsibilities Develop detailed interior design plans, elevations, sections, and construction details using Chief Architect, CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Rhino 3D. Create accurate 3D models and renderings with tools like 3ds Max, Adobe Photoshop, and SketchUp to visualize design concepts effectively. Prepare comprehensive construction documentation including specifications, schedules, and detailed drawings aligned with building codes and safety standards. Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, present design proposals through CAD presentations, and incorporate feedback into final designs. Manage multiple interior design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. Conduct building code analysis to ensure all designs meet local regulations and accessibility requirements. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and consultants during the remodeling or renovation process to ensure seamless project execution. Requirements Proven experience in residential interior design projects with a strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical proficiency. Expertise in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Chief Architect, Rhino 3D, and 3ds Max for drafting and 3D modeling purposes. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for rendering and presentation purposes. Solid understanding of building information modeling (BIM) tools for efficient project management and collaboration. Knowledge of construction detail documentation, lighting design sales, remodeling processes, and renovation best practices. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and team members throughout project phases. Familiarity with building code compliance standards and safety regulations relevant to residential interiors. Background in professional art or design education is preferred along with experience in drafting for construction details. Pay:

$72,344.30 - $100,000.00 per year
