Manufacturer that uses CNC routing equipment is seeking a CAD engineer who is motivated, self-starter with a background in AutoCAD and other CAD software. Need to have experience in CNC machinery operations and tool path programing. Also, will be trained to create digital templates on digitizer equipment that will be used to create the CAD drawing. Need personnel who can is flexible for multiple tasks including installation of product and able to train others. Must be a team player Candidates needs to possess the following:

• Associate degree or higher a must with minimum of 3-5 years of

CNC CAD/CAM

experience

• Experience in the design industry with CAD work
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office programs.
• A visual thinker who can clearly and concisely convey/execute ideas.

Essential Duties:

• Design and create drawings to send to CNC equipment.
• Properly load and use a CNC machine
• Performing quality assurance measures to ensure efficient production.
• Assisting with installation and training others.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Ability to manage projects all the way through production.
• Ability to quickly adapt to the fast-paced environment and exhibit an excellent ability to solve problems in a quick and clever manner.
• Experience with Type Edit software or Rhino The office is in Buford, GA.

$28.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
