Overview We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented CAD Draftsman to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and 3D models that support our manufacturing and construction projects. Your expertise in CAD software and building code compliance will be essential in translating concepts into accurate schematics and detailed documentation, ensuring seamless project execution from design to production. Duties Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino3D, MicroStation, SolidWorks, and ArchiCAD Create construction detail documentation to support manufacturing and construction processes Collaborate with engineers and designers to produce system designs, schematics, and engineering CAD drawings Utilize building information modeling (BIM) tools to ensure building code compliance and accurate project visualization Assist in building code analysis and ensure all designs adhere to relevant standards and regulations Support interior design, mechanical design, and system design projects through precise drafting and modeling Review project specifications and incorporate client requirements into detailed CAD drawings Requirements Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar tools Strong knowledge of construction detail documentation and building code analysis Experience with 3D CAD modeling and building information modeling (BIM) tools for architectural or engineering projects Familiarity with graphic design principles, system design, 2D animation, interior design or mechanical design is a plus Ability to interpret technical sketches, schematics, and engineering drawings accurately Excellent attention to detail combined with strong communication skills Prior experience in construction or manufacturing environments is preferred Join us as a CAD Draftsman to bring innovative ideas to life through precise technical drawings!
