Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Cabinet CAD Designer / Detailer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed cabinet designs and shop drawings using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications. Your expertise in construction processes combined with proficiency in CAD tools will be essential to deliver high-quality, detailed plans that facilitate efficient manufacturing and installation. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to custom cabinetry projects, working closely with our design and production teams to bring client visions to life. Responsibilities Develop precise cabinet designs and detailed shop drawings utilizing CAD software. Collaborate with project managers, designers, and production teams to interpret project requirements and specifications. Ensure all designs meet industry standards, safety regulations, and client expectations. Incorporate construction experience into the design process to optimize functionality and manufacturability. Review and revise drawings based on feedback, ensuring accuracy and completeness before production. Maintain organized digital files of all design documents for easy access and revision control. Assist in resolving design-related issues during the manufacturing or installation phases as needed. Experience Proven experience with CAD software specific to cabinetry or furniture design is required. Construction experience is highly valued, providing insight into building processes and practical application of designs. Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, detailed drawings under tight deadlines. Familiarity with industry standards, safety codes, and best practices related to cabinetry and construction projects. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
