CAD Drafter - Storefront & Aluminum Looking for an experienced CAD drafter familiar with storefront, aluminum doors/windows, and glass systems. Must know AutoCAD and be able to create accurate shop drawings from architectural plans and field measurements. Job Overvi Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, Rhino 3D, and SketchUp to support architectural and engineering projects Create construction detail documentation that adheres to building codes and project specifications Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to produce schematic designs and system layouts Utilize BIM tools like Revit and Grasshopper 3D for building information modeling, ensuring accurate data integration across project phases Assist in system design, interior design schematics, mechanical design layouts, and graphic representations for client presentations Conduct building code analysis to verify compliance with local regulations and standards Support the development of 3D CAD modeling for complex structures or mechanical components using SolidWorks or 3ds Max Qualifications Proven experience with CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, Rhino 3D, SketchUp, Bluebeam, and 3ds Max Strong knowledge of construction detail documentation and building code requirements Experience with BIM tools such as Revit or Grasshopper 3D for integrated project workflows Skilled in 3D CAD modeling for architectural or mechanical systems Familiarity with building code analysis and ensuring design compliance across various jurisdictions Ability to interpret architectural schematics, technical drawings, and engineering plans accurately Background in construction or engineering CAD design is highly desirable Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills Join us to bring innovative visions to life through precise drafting and modeling!
