Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CAD Draftsman to join our innovative design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise and comprehensive technical drawings and 3D models that bring architectural and engineering concepts to life. Your expertise in CAD software and building information modeling (BIM) tools will be essential in translating project requirements into accurate schematics, construction details, and visual representations. Duties Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit to support architectural, engineering, and construction projects Create comprehensive construction detail documentation that adheres to building code standards and project specifications Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to produce schematics, conceptual designs, and construction documents Utilize building information modeling (BIM) tools to facilitate integrated project workflows and ensure building code compliance Conduct building code analysis and review design drafts for accuracy, feasibility, and adherence to regulations Assist in graphic design tasks including 2D animation and visual presentations to enhance project proposals and client communications Support the review of design revisions, ensuring precision in all drafting outputs while maintaining project deadlines Skills Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, & Revit Experience with construction detail documentation and drafting standards Knowledge of building code analysis and building code compliance requirements Skilled in 3D CAD modeling and building information modeling (BIM) tools for integrated project delivery Ability to interpret architectural and engineering schematics accurately Experience with graphic design principles and 2D animation techniques for visual presentations Excellent attention to detail combined with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams Join us as a CAD Draftsman where your technical expertise will shape innovative structures!
