Role:
We are seeking an experienced Architecture Designer who will provide direct support to our dedicated and high-performance team. This position requires a candidate who holds a Bachelor's of Architecture degree with a minimum of hands-on experience in either an internship and/or work experience. You will assist senior level Project Managers with a variety of responsibilities to include; product assembly research and implementation, code research, redlines, taking assembly sketches and creating 3d models with correct layers, assisting with field measuring as well as both existing and construction documentation. This role is ideal for a technically proficient designer who is eager to grow, contribute meaningfully across all project phases, and develop long-term within the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with leadership, the team and clients on projects through design, construction phases and documentation. Coordinate and collaborate with consultants, contractors and fabricators Set up meetings, issue drawings. Manage project schedules, budgets and maintain clear communication - both internal and external. Create design decisions using building science and performance principles.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's of Architecture, required. Hands-on experience in an internship and/or 1-2 years with an architecture firm in a similar role. Strong REVIT skills, required. AutoCAD is a plus, but not required. Knowledge of building codes and design assemblies required. Experience in sustainable, high-performance, or low-energy design Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced office environment with minimal supervision. Must be proactive, resourceful, effective, self-motivated, highly organized, detail oriented, and self-disciplined.
Compensation & Benefits:
