Job Description

Fabrication Technician:
Company Overview:

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Fabrication Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating design intent into detailed fabrication documents, CNC programs, and shop‑ready work packages. Key Responsibilities:
Develop CAD fabrication drawings, details, and work packages based on engineering drawings and calculations. Create CNC programs for drilling, milling, and related machining operations. Issue complete fabrication documents to the shop, ensuring clarity and accuracy. Identify, verify, and pull required materials from inventory. Perform QA/QC tasks, including dimensional checks, documentation review, and process verification. Collaborate with shop personnel and engineering on fabrication methods, troubleshooting, and process improvements. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to workflow, quality, and fabrication.
Qualifications:
Experience in fabrication, machining, quality control, or related technical fields. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, familiarity with GibbsCAM or CNC programming is a plus. Hands on shop experience or fabrication knowledge is preferred; on‑the‑job training will be provided for AutoCAD and CNC programming if required. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation discipline. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment. Pre-employment drug screening is required.
Salary:
